Ard Aoibhinn takes pride of place on the hillside to the north of the beautiful village of Innishannon. Rugby followers and participants are catered for with the Bandon Rugby Club just four miles away.
Innishannon also has a new Golf Driving Range located within walking distance of Ard Aoibhinn. For the equestrian enthusiast Innishannon hosts a number of Equestrian Centres located in its immediate vicinity that caters for all ages. The area is steeped in a great tradition for the equestrian enthusiast and, at the nearby Highfort Stud, the great Queen Mother Champion Chase winner of 2006 “Newmill” was trained. There are a range of excellent schools and childcare facilities in the immediate locality, from day-care to primary level. Nearby Bandon provides secondary school level education in its various establishments.
The area is well served with a fine selection of local pubs and restaurants and is only 10 kilometers from Kinsale, the gourmet capital of Ireland. Also, just a few minutes down the road, is the beautiful Innishannon House Hotel quietly perched on the scenic Bandon River.
